To prove that the Manchester’s bar and restaurant scene is serious about its food and drink matching we’re going to be hosting a special cold food and drink competition. Whether it’s Gazpacho soup, coconut ice cream or Carpaccio we’re thinking of the summer sun and getting the combinations spot on. So befriend a chef, come down, strut your stuff, show your knowledge and combination skills...
Rules:
• Drink must contain at least 30 ml of any Havana Club product.
• A maximum of two members per team (one bartender, one chef) but single entrants welcome.
• Two serves to be made in a ten minute time limit.
• Food must be cold and mainly
prepared off site (to fit into the ten
minute time period.) Cold storage
also available on site.
• You will be marked on;
o Taste combination.
o Style.
o Knowledge.
o Presentation
Wednesday, 25th of August 2010. 5pm, arrival drinks. 6pm competition starts.
Everyone and anyone is welcome to enter or join us to watch!
